As far as MIDI velocities are concerned, any Disklavier will modify the MIDI velocities at the extreme ends, i.e. minimum velocity will be around 30-40 and maximum velocity will be just above 100. (electronic keyboards will play any velocity from 0 to 127)
The E3 series should be quite accurate and is the best player piano on the market as far as playing back at low volume is concerned.
