My Piano is a DC7 Mark II. I am 100 percent
sure the noise is from the power supply, it is a high pitched whine that
modulates based on the load on the power supply.
A replacement board for this power supply costs
$750 with tax! The power supply has many large electrolytic capacitors as
well as a number of ceramic capacitors, and some polypropylene
capactors.
Which capacitors would you replace? (Big
one's or little one's?)
;
Thanks.

If the piano is a DGT, and it is difficult to locate the exact source of the sound, it may by caused by the hammer sensors - there is an updated circuit board available for this.

The sound it makes varies somewhat depending on load. So if there is more load on the power supply it changes in real time as power is drawn.
