Obviously, I missed on this. I do see that it is still possible to utilize QT midi functions(ver 7), but paying the price isn't worth it.

I have QuickTime Pro on my iMac, and it plays MIDI files OK, but is there a way to do this on my iPhone or iPad Air? QT Pro only seems to be available for iMacs, and I can't get it to export MIDI files into iTunes, and neither will iTunes import them!! Frustrating!
