Does anyone know why I am getting the following Message, “KD/PD Connection
Erro (Press STOP Key)”?
This is a brand new E3 piano delivered last Wednesday. Worked great
until Saturday morning and then stopped playing in the middle of a track
(song). Have already checked all the connections (I think), turned off power, reset to
“factory settings”, etc. But message keeps appearing and neither the
keys/pedals or the speakers work when a track is selected and the Play button
pressed. Does not matter if the track is selected from memory, cd, USB,
etc.
Realize the piano is under warranty and my dealer/Yamaha will get it
fixed. But would like to know if it is something I can fix myself with a simple
reset procedure or making sure a particular cable is connected properly.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
