Floppy drive affects orhercDKV functions?

2014-01-20 by Skanter123

The floppy drive on my MPX100II came back to life for a short time tonight, then went back into oblivion. Now nothing happens when I hit the DISK button, can't even try to format. In what way does the floppy affect the rest of the built-in control unit besides reading and writing discs?
