Re: [disklavier] Inactive M IV part 2

As a new DKL owner, I'm curious about other users. (Is there a poll section for this?)

How many of you play piano vs listen to playback only?

Do many use silent function? With internal sounds, or with virtual piano on computer?

Do you buy pianosoft music, or mostly public domain MIDI files?

Thanks in advance...

The primary reason I do it is because in the past (I don't know for sure it's still valid) serial IO UARTs (still used in USB communications) could hold state (ie, strap a pin high) between reboots. That mainly occurred between different components, so maybe, as the Mark IV is a self contained system, unplugging from power serves that purpose as well.
