Re: [disklavier] PRC-100

In the basic service mode, you can calibrate the pedals and do a general test. To access more complex functions, including full calibration, error log, etc, you really should have the PRC-100.

This isn't entirely true.

As I recall from the service manuals, quiet a few of the calibrations can be run by holding down various key combinations on the keyboard while turning on the piano (or some such magic to tell the piano what you are trying to do).

I have considered adding the service features from the PRC into DKVBrowser, but it never seemed like it would be important or worth it since these tools are so very rarely required/used. Â

Â
You need the PRC-100 to access all the service functions.

My PRC-100 starts to be old. I do not use so much, prefering the Ipad + DKVBrowser.

But there are some functions like calibration etc... that can be done only using PRC. Am I wrong ? Â is there alternative possibilities to do those functions without the PRC-100 ?
Thank you
