Re: [disklavier] Connecting Mark IV to subwoofer

2014-04-11 by Kevin Weng

Yes the omni out works like a champ! Wonderful to have added bass when playing back. Thanks Adrian Thomas Music Services!

One thing I don't quite understand is when playing disklavier recording, not only the sound comes from the acoustic piano since the keys are playing, the speakers also gives additional sound. Why? It has been like this. I just didn't notice it until I added the subwoofer.

Oohps, pressed 'send' too early. The OMNI OUT gives you all the backing + sampled piano, the AUX OUT gives you just the backing

If the sub has a built-in crossover, you can feed the OMNI OUT to the sub.

Hello,
I enjoy my DC3M4. Recently I have realized if I can extend the playback to a subwoofer, it will make the sound more wonderful.
Has anyone attempted that? I couldn't find any diagram or mentioning of subwoofer in the manual.
Thanks,
Kevin
