I would guess the pedal solenoids draw a fair amount of current?

Possibly just a blown fuse. In the older Disklavier pianos, if they were pushed really hard (lots of keys at once with high velocities) it was fairly common for the 7 amp fuse to blow.

My MX100 has been cheerfully playing away from its floppy discs and midi connection until the other day. It not will not play from either source. (I thought it was a MIDI issue until I popped in a floppy)

Any thing to troubleshoot?

IS there a silent mode switch?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
