The DKC100R Controller on my 1996 Disklavier 5' 8" baby grand has died and replacement units are next to impossible to find. I may be able to buy a used DKC100XG, which looks like it's the same generation but with a little less in capabilities. Can anyone tell me if the DKC100XG can be substituted for the DKC100R to record and play the piano? I'll appreciate any thoughts. Thanks. Joe Joe Kadlec, P. E.
