Re: [disklavier] Read the disklavier disk in computer

2002-01-10 by Carol Beigel

You can't put a Yamaha disk into your computer and have it read. But you
can use the dkcopy utility and make a COPY of your disk that the computer
CAN read. Because your Disklavier is an MX100, it will only see 2DD disks
and not 2HD floppies. Buy 2DD floppies from www.shoplet.com or tape over
the bottom right hole of a 2HD diskette and format it as a 720k disk. Also,
you will have to convert all MIDI files to ESEQ files for your Disklavier to
play them.

Remember, the dkcopy utility only works when you reboot your computer in
DOS.
