Hi everyone.I have a 1989 Yamaha G2B Disklavier wagon grand model PPG-10R and I have always wanted to learn The Sims New Beginnings song. However it is a MIDI file and the original wagon as far as I know only plays Yamaha’s own E-SEQ files. I have heard it can be upgraded to read SMF files although I have found people on here that have DSR1 and DCD1 modules which I plan to buy later on but right now I don’t quite have the money. I realise you can use your laptop via MIDI cable to do the same thing but I really want the official modules even if they are outdated.
This is a real interesting thing I’ve been wanting to do for a few weeks because I can’t read music I’m partially-sighted and I can’t pick this one up as easily by ear.Cheers
