So, I'm embarrassed to say that I forgot to plug the aux cables from the control unit to the power box. I just did however and I'm happy to say everything is officially working. Thank you so much for your time, Happy Holidays,Michael

We are getting closer. What software are you playing? Is is PianoSoft Solo, PianoSoft Plus, or Pianosoft Plus Audio? If it is solo, there is no accompany tracks. There are two settings for volume through the speakers, depending on the type of software you have. One is PianoSoft Plus Audio (CD with real audio, setting is CD Master Balance). The other is PianoSoft Plus (floppy with synth backgrounds, setting is TG Master Balance.See Chapter 6 of the basic manual for changing the balance of these two settings.Bill

Silent system is working in both the headphones and through the speaker but I have one last problem that I hope will be simple. The speaker does not seem to be playing the background accompaniment when it's supposed to. Everything else now works though and I thank you for that.Let me know if you have any other ideas.Michael

Make a difference.Michael,Go back to the screen that you changed upright to grand and press the RECORD button. This will add an S between GP and DB51. Turn off the control unit, then back on. The Silent system should be restored. Test it by plugging in headphones, turn the volume knob up on the Silent control box, then play some keys on the piano. Are you hearing a digital piano coming through the headphones. If so, Silent mode is working.Speakers - make sure your volume control knob on the amplifier is turned to full on. (See the Amplifier diagram in Chapter 2 of the Basic Operations manual.) Also, make sure the volume is all the way up on the front of the control unit. (See Chapter 6 of the same manual and find ADJUSTING THE VOLUME.) Make sure this is raised to full volume. Can you hear any type of hum through the speakers?Next, put the piano in Silent mode without the hea dphones plugged in and adjust the Silent/Quiet volume full on with the volume knob on the Silent control box. See Chapter 7 on the Silent system. Now try playing some keys on the piano. Do you hear a digital piano coming from the speakers? If yes, then speakers are working. If no, then you may have a fuse out in the Amplifier box or something worse.Let me know.BillOn Dec 22, 2015, at 5:49 AM, Michael Jurewicz michaelf.jur@... The silent system is still not working, I can't hear anything from the speakers nor the headphones. On that thought, the speakers don't appear to be working and I can't hear any kind of gum or anything from them. Is it conceivable that they are shot? Thanks for your time,Michael
