Re[2]: [disklavier] Re: Playing Midi Files to My E3

qmidi is a Mac program. Van Bascos Karaoke Player is a similar program
for the PC. Windows 8 and 10 have terrible support for MIDI. Any player
that plays only to the default MIDI player will not be able to play to
external devices without modifying a very arcane and difficult to find
registry key. I know this is the case for media player because you can
not select the output device only play to the default. Not sure what VB
does. I had win 10 for two days. The only thing I liked about it was
that it was relatively easy to un-install.

For anyone wanting to chagne the default MIDI device to allow playing
from Media Player or other programs that can not select alternate
devices, I have a little program that changes the arcane and difficult
to find registry key to any device installed on the computer. You can
find it on the download page of my web site.
