Disklavier

Hey group! I had a customer who upgraded to a dkc850 from a Mark III and installed the 850 himself. While I don't think he installed anything incorrectly, I had trouble calibrating his disklavier. 
I got to the piano service screen by holding "select" "record" and power on. Then when the screen came up it says, "maintenance[system]"
"Test play[setup]"
(I may be getting system and setup confused but I'm pretty sure that was the order) 
Anyway, I tried to press system and nothing happened, it didn't go to a different screen. Same for when I tried to test play. 
Am I doing something wrong here? I know sometimes with the 850's you have to use the original sequence of buttons to calibrate but I feel like either I'm wrong or something else is wrong.
