Your files worked terrific! I wonder what you did that I didn't do. Perhaps it's the tool I'm using? ..or just my inexperience. I used Anvil Studio to rechannel the piano to channel 1 and had the problems I already mentioned (one note plays and stays on). There appear to be two other tracks not assigned a channel and just being used for a description or something. Perhaps you could take a look at the file and see what you can figure out. I put it out there in the folder you created for me. Also, I thought my MX100A reads both channel 1 & 2. I edited a file to play bass (as left hand piano) on channel 1 and left the piano (as right hand piano) on channel 2. It only played the left hand. Do I have to tell the piano to read both channels somehow? Thanks for all the help! I LOVE the internet and would never have bought this piano without the wealth of knowledge I was able to aquire from archives and help like I'm getting from you guys now. Looking forward to being able to return the favor to someone some day. --- In disklavier@y..., "midi_magic2000" <magic_midi@h...> wrote: > Hi Ray > > I have downloaded the fist two files from that site. > Both files have the piano on track 3 Channel 3 > I used Music Studio 3 and rechanneled channel 3 to channel 1. > > You will find the files in the "files" section of the group. > Look under Midi Magic Temp folder for RayDene. > > Have a go with them and let us know if they work. > > Midi Magic > > > > --- In disklavier@y..., "fakepopster" <raydene@n...> wrote: > > Thanks for both replies. > > > > I do understand that the channel needs to be set to 1 or 2.
