It sounds like the Mark III has been fooled into thinking its
a different model ...
Turn power off.
Hold L-R buttons while turning power on
Press +/YES (CONTROL SHEET)
Press >>|
This should read the version and date of the software and
the model - in your case GP
Use the dial to change to the appropriate model GP or UP
Turn power off
This is how I change it on a Mark II. A number of things changed

This is how I change it on a Mark II. A number of things changed
with the Mark III, so if the dial fails to change the model or
you can't identify
where the model is indicated, return the dial to where you found it and GET OUT OF DODGE (turn the power off)
then call your technician. The control sheet is also where you tell the box a whole lot about the piano it is working with.
You can really confuse it if you're not careful.
