How to put E-SEQ files on a floppy using a TEAC USB UF000x external floppy drive and a Mac?

2017-07-30 by gianluca costamagna

Hi everybody. I just bought an upright MX100A, and I'd like to add midi files found on the internet and put them on floppy disc.
I have a Mac running MacOS Sierra 10.12.5, an external TEAC USB UF000x floppy drive and some TDK MF2DD floppy discs.
My computer does not recognize the discs, and seems not to be able to format them.
Maybe I need the mac driver for the external TEAC drive: where can I find it?
Which is the right format for the floppies to be used on my disklavier? Is it right that MX100A uses E-SEQ files?

Thank you.
Gianluca
