Re: Pianosoft Plus 2HD Utility

2002-01-31 by crayton1999

Todd & Mike,

Yes, it is indeed the 1.44 2HD diskettes that I was asking about.
This diskette is the sampler that came with my Disklavier and has
both piano solo (Pianosoft) and Piano with accompanyment (Pianosoft
Plus).

I was under the impression that all Pianosoft Plus diskettes were 2HD
as I have yet to purchase any.

Thank you both for the quick responses. This user group is excellent
and necessary for all owners of these wonderfully complex Disklavier
machines.

Best regards....David Grubb

There is one thing I noticed that does trouble me. You said (2HD),
by which I think you are saying it is a 1.44MB diskette and not the
usual 720K. If so, that will be a challenge. DKVCOPY is
specifically designed to make DOS readable copies of 720K disks and
does not support 1.44MB. Unfortunately I don't have a solution if
that is the case. The only 1.44 Pianosoft disk I remember was the
demos that came with my disklavier. Most or all of the ones they
sell are 720K to assure backward compatibility. Hope this helps.
