Canadian Acoustic Piano Purchases

I'm interested in buying a Yamaha piano (model not yet determined). 
I've seen that the Canadian prices w/shipping are significantly 
lower than in the US. Has anyone bought this way? What are your 
experiences? Thanks, jb
