Re: [disklavier] Enspire App alternatives

2019-05-28 by Ian

Kassey,

I've had the Enspire for 2 years. I use Mac with basic Apps which permit editing of MIDI. The essential functions, of course, are correcting wrong notes, taming too-vigorous playing or lifting notes too soft to play properly and altering or adding pedal. These are easily done.

Anyone upgrading from a Disklavier with the DKV-850 will be disappointed at being unable to use existing Yamaha CDs or floppies, but pure midi is of more interest to me and I drive my Enspire only from my computer or from the iPad supplied.

What other functions have you in mind to use with the Enspire?
I may have some answers.

Hello, I'm doing my due diligence toward upgrading to an Enspire piano. ; I wasn't really impressed by the limitations of the current app (which has only been upgraded a couple of times since the intro of the piano over 3 years ago. The Enspire Pro pianos have so many playing, recording, and advanced features that just aren't in the current iOS app. Has anyone tried using a PC browser to access any advanced functions/features?

Also, anyone have access to the tech/maintenance manuals?

Enjoy the music!
