Hi all,
I have an MPX1Z Mark II XG U1 disklavier that I purchased new in 2001. Recently I went to use the silent piano for the first time in a few months and there was no output. If I adjust the settings to play the XG sounds I can hear them fine. MIDI output from the keys appears to be working, and I can play / record and the keys all move etc.
Is there something obvious I might be overlooking? If not, what is the prognosis? Is it likely that a repair is going to be cost effective on such an old (and essentially worthless) instrument now?
