Check with a local dealer to see if they will substantially discount
this price.  For a $1295 savings, I'd be willing to do a lot of
converting.  In fact, I still convert my favorite midi collections to
e-seq format, because the eexplorer utility allows you to very easily
edit the disk title, song titles, song order, etc.  The straight midi
format is somewhat less flexible.  I don't do any manipulations of the
files with  the Yamaha controller because it is much more cumbersome and
cryptic.
