Re: [disklavier] Re: Yahoo Groups Changing

2019-10-27 by Terry Abbott

Thank you for keeping us informed Would this be forum.pianoworld.com ?

I just don’t want to be left behind.

Whenever there’s a final decision, would someone please send a link out to where everyone will end up going?

I don’t participate much but my ears perk up once in a while when questions are asked about certain Disklavier situations.

Thanks
Teresa

The reason is because of the number of additional resources needed to create one, and because it has to represent the entire Yamaha product family, possibly at a global scale. Until we can provide something direct to Disklavier users, my suggestion is to utilize PianoWorld for your discussion needs. There are already a number of Yamaha dealers, reps, and users on that site. Our dealers and reps monitor the site regularly and it is much easier to access than a closed group."

Frank is in the middle of a move right now and suggested we follow up on this in a couple of weeks.

Piano World does support links and inline photos in postings. There is no file repository, but we could find some other options to meet that need.
