I posted this weekend under rowdy1320, but now I have a urgent 
question.  An outside party I have been speaking with has agreed to 
sell his mx100 piano to me.  I am sure he indicated that the piano 
was from 1996.  I put in the serial number at yamaha's web site as 
suggested by your members and found that it is manufactured between 
1993 and 1994.

I feel a little alarmed at this.  Can someone tell me if there is 
differences between these model years and if so where does a price of 
$5,400 fall in the range of prices for used units like this that are 
in very good condition?

Also, if I go ahead with this purchase, are there any recommendations 
re movers to use.  Will be shipping from Washington DC area to 
Michigan.  I have not told daughters yet or laid out any money.  If 
there is an issue here re the different model years or the price I 
mentioned, please be blunt and/ frank.
