Disklavier

The serial number sounds about right for a MX100II. If the piano was 
manufactured late in 1994 and arrived at a dealer in 1995, it could easily 
have sat on the showroom floor or warehouse until 1996.

The piano alone retails today for almost $7,000 - without the DKV.  It is an 
old model U1 which you cannot buy anymore new.  The new U1 is a brassier 
sounding piano with a full perimeter plate.  With a DKV, it is now called 
the M1Z.

I would always have a qualified piano technician check out this instrument.  
A Disklavier should be able to perform a record and playback test.  The 
error history should be checked.

Just remember, what you buy is what you get.  This piano cannot have the ROM 
updated by you.  It must have an added tone generator to play the ensemble 
sounds.
