I just purchase a 1997 C1 Disklavier
(DKC100R).
The piano sounds excellent and all was well with
the Disklavier.
Then I went on a trip for a couple of days and upon
my return
I find that my Disklavier does not appear to read
disks anymore.
Whatever disk that I put in (including the
PianoSoft example disk)
the Disklavier reports that the disk is unformatted
(which is untrue).
Also, if I try to format a disk (of course a 2DD
disk) it goes through
the motions (i.e., counting down from 80 to 01 -
note it does not show
00) and then it reports "CANNOT FORMAT
DISK".
Has anyone seen this behavior?
I am guessing that it is a malfunctioning floppy
disk. Other suggestions?
