Norton. I'm sure you already have correct the problem, but here is the

My recommendation is that everyone use Norton AntiVirus. There are other
good antivirus programs available but I am most familiar with Norton, who is the
market leader. I don't necessarily recommend their bloated, oversized
System Works package that eats up memory and slows you down, but the basic
antivirus package is excellent. I have mine set to do an
unattended update of virus definitions daily. An unattended scan
of all my hard drives is done once a week at 2AM. It is also configured to
scan all incoming and outgoing emails as they are sent or received. When I
got on my system, the Norton notification was waiting for me announcing that it
had removed the .bat file from the email and quarantined it, told me what virus
it was and gave me the link (above) to all the details. It's a painless
and effective form of protection once you have it set up properly.
