Now that I am back with you, I want to apologize for
this problem. I subscribe to another list that does not precede its
subject line with anything like [disklavier]. Consequently, I wasn't
suspect. It had two attachments, one with a .DOC extension and another
with either .BAT or .EXE. I accidentally hit the latter before reading the
DOC. I was running a virus scan on incoming E-Mail but it failed to detect
it. I am now running Norton Anti-Virus, so (knock on wood) it won't happen
again. I wasn't even aware I had been infected until the following day
when the list was flooded with warnings; with my name attached(!). I
[promise to be more careful with attachments in the future just in case the
contain unknown bugs.
