Disklavier

Can anyone explain Velocet to me? I've downloaded it but don't have a
clue how to include it in my flow. I generally play midi files to my
Disklavier straight from my laptop. And frequently the volume is
completely misset. It would be great to convert volumes (based on
curves) which is what it looks like Velocet does.... Or should I look at
another product? Can I do this with Midigraphy?
