Disklavier

Carol,
Have you forgotten about Robert Swirsky's e-seq player?  Put an e-seq
floppy into your PC and it plays through your sound card.  Unfortunately
this is an old program and won't play from a hard drive and I doubt
Robert wants to update it.  

Just to add to the confusion, he named it Dkutils, not to be confused
with the dkvutil suite available on our site.  I don't know if this is
what you were looking for, but here it is:

P.S. Unfortunately, the anonymous (to all but me) author of DKVUTILS
left the group a couple years ago and our praises go unheard.

If you can pull off getting a DC1A for a low cost - go for it!  It is a 
bigger and better piano to start with and it tunes better.  You also get
the 
ability to use high density diskettes, have 16 internal memory disks, 
ability to use SMF 1 as well as SMF0 files; have Silent Mode, Smart Key,
and 
now Piano Smart.  Plus, it will record as well.  What a deal!
