Hi,
Despite the fact that I'm a CVP user, I hope the you can help me.
 
I would like to make my own MIDI disks in the way YAMAHA did it.
On the YAMAHA disk, that comes with the CVP, you can see that the 
format (name of the MIDI file) is a little bit different 
from "normal" MIDI files.
If you use a "normal" MIDI file on a disk the CVP only shows the 
first 8 characters (like DOS).
But how is it possible to change that?

On the disk are two additional files. In one file you find the 
declaration for which CVP the disk is for. In the second file are 
the songs with there complete names are listed (with additional 
information's).

The disk contains 5 files:
01AMAZING.s718.MID
02GRANDEVALSE.s671.MID
03GREENSLEEVES.s473.MID
04WILD_ROSE.s687.MID
05MY_BONNIE.s460.MID

The disk is called Music Software Collection.

The disk is not copy protected !!!

The only problem I have is to understand the syntax in the file:

My question are:
 
Can anybody tell me the syntax of the disk (files) ? 
What should I do to generate a disk like the YAMAHA disk ?
How can I add the song texts to show them during playing ?
Are the any internet pages were I can download complete disks 
with scores ?
