RE: [disklavier] Windows XP and Disklaviers

2002-12-24 by Carol Beigel

Thank you for your help. However, mostly this did not work. I created a
bootable system disk in Windows 98 and pput the dkvcopy and ydm programs on
it. Only the program, AnaDisk worked (they say that one will copy anthing!).
DKVcopy did not. Giebler did not. Neither of those two programs could see
the disk I wanted to copy. I kept getting a file creation error or a
runtime error.

For today, this failure is probably the best as it makes it easier to wrap
up the laptop runing XP Home and give to my Dad! He wants to run GIS
software; and to think he asked for a hedge trimmer! If I thought this
laptop would work on DKV utilities, it would be harder to give it away!!!
