Dear Carol and WSC, Thanks for your replies. I have a dozen 720K disks from my old Mac days. However, presently I'm running XP far away from the piano. So a direct connect to the disklavier is out of the question without a big effort. I'll keep my eyes open for one of the legacy machines that can run dkvcopy, but it has become clear that I'm better off upgrading to DSR1 to match my desktop's capabilities. MIDI Magic: thanks for the link to the "Hands On" site. There is some cool stuff there. Finally, I used to use Band-in-a-Box (at least a couple of versions ago) when I had the Mac and a portable Yamaha keyboard. Let me echo that it is great software if you are considering buying it.
