Dear Carol and WSC,
Thanks for your replies. I have a dozen 720K disks
from my old Mac days. However, presently I'm running
XP far away from the piano. So a direct connect to
the disklavier is out of the question without a big
effort. I'll keep my eyes open for one of the legacy
machines that can run dkvcopy, but it has become clear
that I'm better off upgrading to DSR1 to match my
desktop's capabilities.

MIDI Magic: thanks for the link to the "Hands On"
site. There is some cool stuff there.

Finally, I used to use Band-in-a-Box (at least a
couple of versions ago) when I had the Mac and a
portable Yamaha keyboard. Let me echo that it is
great software if you are considering buying it.

Happy New Year to everyone here.

Rich

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
