I'm pretty sure the DGT2A has been available since 2001. Also, Yamaha has a ~2yr. cycle on their keyboard products so the DGT2A is due for an upgrade or replacement. Yamaha's other and less expensive digitals such as the CLP/CVP series offer (spec for spec) beefier and presumably superior sounding systems. If we assume the GranTouch provides the best action/sensor system available in a digital then Yamaha should couple it with their best digital `engine' if they want to pitch it as their premier digital piano. --- In disklavier@yahoogroups.com, Morris Smith <mdsatlanta@y...> wrote: > The DGT2A is a current new model. > > --- "jpbtacj <jpbtacj@y...>" <jpbtacj@y...> > wrote: > > Does anyone know if a new GranTouch (perhaps a > > replacement for the > > DGT2A) is going to be presented at the upcoming NAMM > > show in a few > > weeks? > > > > > > > __________________________________________________ > Do you Yahoo!? > Yahoo!
