GranTouch

Does anyone know if a new GranTouch (perhaps a replacement for the
DGT2A) is going to be presented at the upcoming NAMM show in a few
weeks?

The DGT2A is a current new model.

I'm pretty sure the DGT2A has been available since 2001. Also,
Yamaha has a ~2yr. cycle on their keyboard products so the DGT2A is
due for an upgrade or replacement. Yamaha's other and less
expensive digitals such as the CLP/CVP series offer (spec for spec)
beefier and presumably superior sounding systems. If we assume the
GranTouch provides the best action/sensor system available in a
digital then Yamaha should couple it with their best digital
`engine' if they want to pitch it as their premier digital
piano.
