Hi,
;
Sorry for the confusion Tod, by “Disklavier group there” in Australia , what I meant was whether there was a local group who meet up and discuss matters like some of the groups I have seen in “Orgen fax” site in UK etc. May not be necessary to meat up for tea but for an armature like me who is in the process of assembling a old Disklavier, it would be very useful to be able to show physically the problems encountered with setting up hardware and calibration etc. I don’t know what help I could get from the local Yamaha agent but will try once we get there.
I will visit the site you mentioned. But I am surprised that for the period I have been with this group I not heard from a member from Australia!
Many thanks for your advice and will keep you posted.
Regards
Budds

Budds,
I'm not quite sure what you're looking for in terms of a "local" disklavier group in Australia. A web group like this one exists everywhere in cyberspace (including Sri Lanka). Are you looking for a club where the members hold meetings or get together for tea? I believe we have a number of members based in Oceana, most notably the fine pianist Doug McKenzie. There is a link to his excellent midi website on the links page of my family website. You have me quite confused.

Hi to all,
I am hoping to move to Australia by end of February and would like to
know whether anyone knows of a Disklavier group there? I tried the web
and could not find anything. Any contacts will be welcome.
Anyway, I will be leaving this group temporally and hope to rejoin once
I reach my destination. Before I leave I would like to thank all those
who spent there time and effort sending me information and stuff about
the disklavier. All the very best to you all,
Kind regards,
Budds
