What tarnishes the brass strings? My piano is only 2 months old and i'm begining to see a few areas that are tarnishing. Is it true that if a person touches the strings, they inturn leave oil and then the strings tarnish where they were touched? Anyone else notice their brass strings turning in small sections of the strings?
