mspurcell It can be very difficult these days to find a DD (720K) diskette. So difficult, in fact, that I don't bother doing it. Here's a little trick you can use. Pick up a 3 1/2 disk and look at it from the back side. The back side has the open circle in the middle of the disk. Orient the diskette so the metal sleeve that covers the disk is on the bottom. Now, if you look at the disk in the upper left hand corner there is a write protect tab. You can "open" this window in order to protect your disks from being written on. If you look in the same location on the RIGHT side of the disk, there will be an opening that you can see through. This opening is what tell the disk drive it is a HD disk. If you take a piece of electrical tape (I use that because it is black, but any opaque/solid tape will do) and cover up this tab, it will make your computer/disk drive think you have a 720K diskette. Simply re-format the disk (now a DD 720K diskette) and you should be ready to go. Sorry for the long explanation, I just wanted to make sure the directions were easy to follow.
