Disklavier

Hello!  I have a Mx100a.  If I add a DSR1 to it, will I have more 
control over the volume.  It's is currently too loud for dinner 
parties.  I am aware of the other benefits of a DSR1 and ways toi 
sequence down the volume on recordings.  I just remember seeing a 
later control box with more volume settings.  Thanks
