Hello Mike,
I do not have a disklavier as yet, but I am a big admirer of most
of the technology. What I wonder is why Yamaha apparently puts the the
ability to play quietly and to pedal properly, only on its very
expensive "pro" line of pianos. Shouldn't the price people pay for even
the least expensive disklaviers entitle them to these features? If I've
mixed up the complaints and the features and models, etc. I apologize.
I just hate to see what apparently is the best system hampered by these
picky little problems, especially since it appears most dealers don't
seem to think that people merely playing an instrument in their home
don't need or deserve the "pro" features. I guess the bottom line is
Mike, I think Yamaha would make up for the added expense of making ALL
their models with the "pro" features, through increased sales to
thousands of enthusiastic potential owners like me. Let the more
expensive units have a fancier finish, cabinetry, artwork etc. - Things
that are Luxuries, NOT necessities. Thanks for listening.
