Disklavier

I don't know about any DVD1, so I will assume it is a typo and that you mean 
the DCD1 CD player.  Yes, this will work with piano smart providing you have 
8 Megabits of memory on your system.  If your control box has a W in the 
model number, or your have the DSR1, or EMK, or SmartKey, or a MarkIII 
system, you already have enough memory.  If not, you will need to upgrade 
also to a newer control board.  These details will be forthcoming from 
Yamaha soon as PianoSmart has not yet been released for DKVs older than the 
MarkIII.
