The closest answer to your questions is "I'm too shy".
I think you've got the wrong mix of anonymity. The way it's set up, the recipients know who I am but I don't know who they are. That makes me jumpy.
I have loads of marginal material such as transcriptions of ragtime piano rolls, Jelly Roll Morton etc. As the original rolls are very rare here in the UK, most of this comes from modern recuts of old rolls. I'd be happy to share this but the copyright situation is questionable and I'd like to have some idea of how widely it will be spread.
I'm sure you won't do this, but I'd much rather see the group personalised by asking each member to submit a thumbnail sketch of who they are, where they live, what type of instrument they have and, importantly, whether they are professionally involved in the field.
