This is an unusual problem with trying to locate some hardware parts for my Disklavier project.
I have moved to Australia from Sri Lanka and brought my disklavier project with me along with the rest of the household goods and now in Melbourne. For those who remember , my name is Budds and I bought a disklavier DGH1BII Mark 2 with a damage keyboard. I have had no success in getting the re-cut keys to work and play the way it should. I tried calling the local Yamaha importer and they are really not interested in helping me out and coated a exorbitant price for the parts. I wonder whether anyone could help me with locating a key rack and the 88 keys? Is it possible that some where there may be a DGH1B or even a GH1 (of which the keys I believe will fit the DGH1B), keyboard and key rack available. I don't mind one in any condition as long as all the parts are original and is working.
I have put in a lot of effort to get this disklavier up an running and come so far with the project. It only needs a the keyboard to resurrect it.
Also I need some advice on the disklavier part, as it works and plays back except the record function. I am unable to play another midi instrument from the piano keyboard but it works the other way about with the usual .5sec delay in piano keys. I know that the midi out works as I tried the piano soft and it works when an expander is connected. The peddles also do not work but I don't know whether the midi files I use have the peddle function. So I have kept it to check later. When I switch the power on I get a message "Sensor not connected".
Thanking you for any information on these especially information on the keyboard.
Best regardsBudds

Hi Budds,
I am sorry to say that all the reference books I has looked thru tell me
that the DGH1B model is playback only and does not have hammer sensors which
would be essential for measuring hammer velocity. The key sensors under the keys
only provide key on and key off information and it looks as if the lead that
plugs in on the right hand side behind the fall is disconnected and giving you
the "sensor not connected" error message.
