For some reason, I am not receiving the posts from this group. I just now got the idea to check the group's website and found them. Sorry for the repeat posts. Hopefully, by day's end I will be getting them. A generic response to MarkIIXG owners, is that unless you paid for something special like the EMK1 upgrade, or you can use Smart Key (the key winks and waits for you to play it) you do not have the 8 MB memory needed and need to get the new board for your control unit. I have an MX100IIXG, DKC500RXG control unit, and would need the new board. For the MarkII owners who already have the CD player, you are going to need the DSR1 control unit. Try to wade through the details carefully. It took me several tries! All of the parts necessary are available through your local Yamaha dealer. It is a standing joke among office folks that piano technicians are dead in the water in an office environment - using a telephone with more than one line, a copy or fax machine, etc. I was pushing buttons the other day, and Heaven only knows what I did. I'll check back later when I get back from work. Carol Beigel who gets email at: carol@...
