Does anyone know if the DCD1, when used in
conjunction with a PianoSmart disk, outputs the CD's in stereo? The reason
I ask is that when I play a CD on the DCD1 through a fairly high end stereo
system, the sound quality is noticeably worse than when I play the same CD on my
DVD player.
If the DCD1 outputs the CD's in stereo, then
I may consider getting the DCD1 modified to add a digital output
(so long as the PianoSmart system will still work properly when the
CD's playing through a digital output). With a digital output
(such as a Toslink or SPDIF), the sound quality should be much better. Any
thoughts?
