Disklavier

Your MX100B will not play MIDI files from a floppy disk  The MX100B only
plays ESEQ files on genuine, double density, 720k floppy disks. Forget using
a 1.44 disk and taping over the hole.

If you want to play MIDI files on a MX100B without first converting them to
the ESEQ format, you need to use a jukebox or music sequence software
program on a computer connected to the DKV via a MIDI interface.

You can convert MIDI  to ESEQ files using the MID2ESEQ program in the
dkvutil software available in the files section of this group. You must then
format a 720k diskette  on your computer and put the ESEQ files on it.

If this does not work, buy a copy of the Giebler utilities.  Use this
software to convert MIDI files to ESEQ files, format 720k disks, place ESEQ
files on the disks.
