I bought a DU1A in the U.S. for $10,400 (about 6000 British pounds) and think 
that the features on this newer model with full warranty are worth the 
upgrade over a lesser priced II XG model - and the one you are looking at may not 
have the XG tone generator.  Maybe the British market is very different and 
prices are higher but this is an imported item to either country. Good luck with
