Evidently, then, the Volume control on the Wagon model does not control MIDI loudness as it does on the Mark II and later models. You might wish to confirm that with someone like Bill Brandom: BBrandom@... Two work-arounds that occur to me are hardly elegant: 1) While the MIDI file is open in Cakewalk, successively scale by some percentage (or reduce by some constant) the velocities of the piano track. You could start by scaling to 90% and keep applying that percentage until the sound output drops sufficiently for you. Velocity scaling is a feature of Pro Audio 9, but may not be a feature of lighter versions. PG Music's Power Tracks also will allow you to scale and play MIDI files. (There may exist other applications or hardware devices that would scale MIDI velocities on the fly, but I'm not aware of them.) 2. Use Giebler Utilities to convert your MIDIs to E-SEQ and write them to PianoSoft-like 720K diskettes. Allan Zalamea wrote: > Robert, > > I have a Yamaha Piano Player Control Wagon PPG10R from Japan.
