Re: [disklavier] homemade pianodisk on DKV won't play

Do you mean that Pianomation disks (I understand that's what QRS is)
will play on the DKV ? Or do you, lucky one, have both systems ?
(I wonder what would result from installing a Pianomation system on a
DKV ... :-) Will they cooperate, and play along each other's
tunes? :-P )

That might be part of my problem... I checked the "disk and files format
for midi piano players" chart in this group's files section and /wishful
read/ the Pianomation line instead of the Pianodisk one... I'll check it
all again tomorrow, I'm afraid my files are type 1 as I use Cubase SX to
build them..

Then hopefully Mark Fontana -the creator of the midtopianoCD software-
will soon extend his program to include the Yamaha system./ /We could
then burn our own CDs and have our beloved Yamahas play them. I work
with singers, and it would be a real delight to produce homemade
performances, not even mentionning jazz or classical instrumental duets...

Still I wonder : do the DKV play /normal/ Pianodisk and/or Pianomation
CDs ?

By the way, thanks for your help : you made me have a closer look to the
QRS site (http://www.qrsmusic.com/), and Wow ! they even have a
violin-player, an accordion player, and some percussions... Very nice !
My bank account is staring at me with a desperate look... :-!
